About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong understanding of various spirits and cocktails, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for our patrons.
Requirements
Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations on drinks and food pairings.
Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate stock of ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies. Notify management of any inventory shortages.
Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This includes regularly sanitizing workstations, washing glassware, and disposing of trash.
Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling cash, credit cards, and tips.
Promotions: Promote special offers, signature cocktails, and other items to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints and conflicts with tact and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service and a cohesive work environment.
Event Support: Assist in the setup and execution of special events, including private parties, tastings, and promotional activities.
Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol, including verifying the legal drinking age of customers.
